Alison Scherr
Alison was born and raised in the Black Hills area. She received her B.S. in finance from the University of Wyoming in May 2005. She attended graduate school in Southern California where she received her Masters of Accounting and Financial Management in May 2008. While in California, she worked as an accountant and financial analyst for an acquisition company in the Radiation Oncology sector. It was here that Alison received much of her business training and exposure to the corporate world.
Alison and her husband, Jayme, returned to the Black Hills in 2008 to start a family and their careers. Her husband is a third generation Chiropractor and works along side his father in Rapid City. The couple enjoys snow skiing, rock climbing, scuba diving, snowmobiling, hiking, snowshoeing and fly fishing, as well as keeping up with their little girl, born April 2008.
Alison is currently studying for her Certified Financial Planning certification from the College of Financial Planning, with an anticipated graduation in 2010.
